Anyone who gets a tattoo in the middle of summer immediately notices a problem as soon as they step out of the tattoo studio: the sun burns like fire on freshly tattooed skin and you can literally feel the cells being damaged. This is because freshly tattooed skin has no natural skin protection, allowing the sun to penetrate the dermis unimpeded.
With the newly revised TattooMed Protection Patch MILKY, you not only protect your skin after tattooing against dirt, dehydration, and germs, but the milky patch also serves as reliable UV protection and prevents harmful radiation from passing through. Moreover, it optimally supports aftercare and is waterproof and breathable.
All-round protection for your fresh tattoo
The Sun film is waterproof and allows your tattoo to breathe. By covering your tattoo, you protect it from dehydration and infections during the first few days. A moist wound environment is created, in which the first phase of the healing process proceeds faster. The tattoo film is specifically developed for this purpose. It comes from modern wound care and is often used for burns and minor abrasions.
We have further developed the film and equipped it with a UV filter with a very high protection factor: 96%

Instructions for use:
Apply the film to freshly tattooed and cleaned skin and leave it on for three to five days. After that, the healing process can be supported with the Cleansing Gel and After Tattoo, our Care Bundle.
To remove the film, gently lift a corner and stretch the film. It's even easier if you warm the film, for example by standing under the shower.
After removal, it is important to clean your tattoo thoroughly. The Cleansing Gel cleanses and soothes the skin immediately after removing the film. The non-greasy After Tattoo with 7% Panthenol ensures rapid further healing - an ideal combination!
Tattoo film is self-adhesive and should be applied directly to your clean tattoo after it's been done. This can be done at the studio or when you get home.
- Wash your hands
- First clean your new tattoo with Cleansing Gel. Lather the soap well.
- Don't forget the edges. Make sure you wash off all Vaseline, blood, and ink. Otherwise, the film won't stick.
- Leave the film on for a few days. At least three days. The longer you leave the film on, the better your tattoo will heal. Preferably 5 days.
- Remove the film by peeling up a corner and stretching the film. Removing it is even easier by warming up the film.
- After removal, it's important to clean your tattoo thoroughly. The Cleansing Gel cleanses and soothes the skin immediately after removing the film. It also removes any residual adhesive.
- Pat your tattoo dry with a lint-free cloth
- Apply a thin layer of After Tattoo to your tattoo
