You start with the After Tattoo after your tattoo artist allows you to remove the film. This varies by artist.

After removing the film (cling film or tattoo film), it is important to first gently clean the tattoo with the Cleansing Gel. This helps remove excess ink, blood, and lymphatic fluid.

Once your tattoo is completely dry, start applying the After Tattoo.

We recommend applying After Tattoo to your tattoo 2-3 times a day.

TattooMed Sun Protection SPF30 and SPF50 are both specially designed to protect tattoos from the harmful effects of the sun, such as discolouration and fading.

The main difference is the degree of protection they offer. SPF30 provides protection against approximately 96% of UVB radiation, while SPF50 provides protection against approximately 98% of UVB radiation. This means that SPF50 offers slightly higher sun protection than SPF30.

If you have very sensitive or fair skin that burns easily, it is probably wise to choose the higher protection factor (SPF50). If you have dark skin that doesn't burn easily, then SPF30 is probably sufficient.

Please note! Whichever protection factor you use, regular application of sunscreen is very important. This is the best way to protect your tattoos from the harmful effects of the sun.
