HOW DOES THE TATTOO FILM WORK?
Tattoo film is self-adhesive and is applied directly to your cleaned tattoo after tattooing. This can be done in the studio or simply when you get home. The tattoo film creates a moist wound environment, in which the first phase of the healing process proceeds faster. The tattoo film has been specially developed for this purpose. It is also often used in medical care for healing burns and minor abrasions.
Unlike normal cling film, tattoo film stays on your tattoo for a few days (3-5 days). By covering your tattoo with the film, you protect your tattoo from drying out and harmful bacteria during the first few days. Your tattoo can then heal well from the inside.
The film is waterproof, but breathable. So your tattoo gets enough oxygen. If you leave the film on long enough, at least 3-5 days, your tattoo will not form a thick scab and will start to peel almost immediately.
You also won't have any stains on your clothes or bedding. Sleeping is really nice with the tattoo film during the first few days.

You apply the film to the freshly tattooed and cleaned skin and then leave it on for three to five days.
The film is suitable for small and large tattoos. For larger tattoos, overlap the film by 1cm.
You remove the film by peeling off a corner and stretching the film. It's even easier if you warm the film, for example, by taking a shower.
TIP: Do you work in an environment with a lot of dust, sawdust, hair or do you have pets? Then the film is ideal! With the tattoo film, you protect your new tattoo from this dirt.
