Piercing Techniques
Piercing
With classic piercing, the skin is pierced with a sterile disposable cannula (Venflon). After the needle is removed, the remaining plastic tube is replaced by the original jewelry.
Punching
In punching, a hollow needle with a tip that is not pointed but flat, completely removes or ejects tissue from the piercing canal.
Surface Piercing
Surface piercings are also called skin piercings or superficial piercings. They are therefore piercings that are placed on the body surface.
Single Point Surface Piercing
These piercings, also known as Dermal Anchors, do not pass through the skin with entry and exit, but are placed on the skin. The "mini-implants" in the form of a platelet with a vertical internal thread are inserted into a small skin pocket after a round opening has been punched in the skin.
