Piercing Aftercare

Vrouw met neus piercing

Getting a new piercing is a piece of cake: the job is done in a few minutes. You also won't feel much pain. A small prick and that's it.

It really gets painful if you don't take good care of your piercing. An infected piercing can easily develop. Fever, risks of worse conditions, and a slower healing of your new piercing are unfortunately part of this.

To prevent infections and speed up healing, good hygiene is a must. The medically effective After Piercing spray helps you with this.

This is important to know and do when caring for your piercing:

Disinfect your piercing several times a day. Especially in the first days and weeks after the piercing is done. Even after piercing wounds have healed, bacteria can accumulate between the skin and your piercing. This causes unpleasant odors.

For extensive cleaning and care of your piercing and jewelry, we at TattooMed have developed the After Piercing Spray. With this, you can easily clean and care for your piercing (and wound) every day. Bacteria disappear in front of your eyes, and the wound heals much faster than with just some water and a saline solution (which stings unpleasantly).

Six additional benefits of the TattooMed After Piercing Spray:

  • After Piercing is skin-friendly and does not sting!
  • The spray also reaches deep-seated cells
  • Helps with cell renewal
  • Relieves pain
  • Anti-inflammatory
  • Multifunctional: you can also use the spray well on other wounds, such as abrasions

Handy hygienic wipes for disinfecting the piercing itself

We cannot stress this enough: fresh piercing wounds need to be well cared for in the first hours and days after the piercing. The wound must heal completely without intruders from outside entering the wound.

It is important that the piercing bar is therefore sterile and rust-free. Titanium is usually used for this. Move and clean your piercing regularly so that no blood dries up and the piercing channel heals well. This truly prevents your piercing from becoming infected.

Specifically for disinfecting the piercing jewelry itself, there is the TattooMed After Piercing Hygienic Wipe. With this lint-free hygienic wipe, you thoroughly disinfect the piercing bar and the back of the plug. Blood and dried wound fluid thus have no chance of causing an infection. Do this before inserting the (new) piercing.

The After Piercing care Spray also provides a deep cleaning of the piercing channel

You can read above that it is important to disinfect your new piercing daily. But did you know that proper care of your existing piercing is just as important? If you pay little or no attention to this, unpleasant odors can arise due to bacteria accumulation. Not pleasant, so you don't want that!

However, you cannot reach the (piercing) wound channel very well. A cotton swab won't get you far, as it is too thick and too fluffy. Also, do not use tweezers or a hairpin, because before you know it, you will damage the skin and have a wound that can easily become an infection.

The TattooMed After Piercing spray also solves this problem for you. The spray penetrates deep into the piercing channel and also reaches the cells located deeper in the skin. The ingredients ensure a medical effect of the spray. They help with cell renewal, relieve pain, and have an anti-inflammatory effect.

Use the spray to disinfect both the piercing and the piercing channel, and treat both several times a day after piercing to prevent infections.

Keep your piercing clean and fresh!

If you want to enjoy your piercing for a lifetime, take care of it! Remove your piercings and plugs a few times a week and disinfect them hygienically.

This ensures good piercing aftercare, allowing you to enjoy your jewelry for years to come.
